Linwood folk have been busy with home renovation projects and other obligations, but we're still trying to squeeze in some time for arts & crafts. We are experimenting with a few new soap scents, including Lemongrass Mint and Fennel Clove. Check us out at First Fridays to smell our new creations.

Recent Acquisition

I don't know much about sewing machines, but I don't think this one is anything spectacular or rare. That doesn't change my affections for it's beautiful appearance. I wasn't even in the market for one, but a brief Craigslist browse, led to a 30 minute car ride and a new addition to our craft room. It was made in 1928 and will hopefully last for many more years to come. It is electric, but we hope to make a treadle one day so that it can be manually powered.

Birdie's & Bones

 We are selling in a Lingerie & Swimwear Boutique called Birdies. They've been a local shop for 9 years and have a really beautiful space in the Crossroads Art District. They offered us some space to do a trunk show for the First Friday Art Walk as a way to introduce our product. Here's some photos of the set up.

 

 

 

 Also, we've had some discussions lately about including hair sticks in our Etsy shop. The one pictured below is made from a cow rib that was found on a relative's farm. It's not for sale, but hopefully we'll be selling them soon.
